1998 Lexus gs300 will not accelerate after repairs

Mechanic thinks it's electrical. Was accelerating fine until repairs only problem was an oil leak.

Replaced cam seals,timing change and O2 sensor. Now he's telling me he's going to have to send it to someone who knows about the electrical components. It starts but then cuts off. I really don't think he knows what he was doing.

it is possible he trapped some wiring in the covers doing the tming belt and seals. lets hope he re checked his work
