my car shakes when i push the brakes on the highway. what does that mean?

The front end shakes.
Plus it pulls to right when driving on general and there is a squeaking noise while driving coming from the front also. do i need brakes? And if so, do i have to go to a dealer only to get them replaced

shake may be brake rotor out of round/warped. and you can get brakes done at local brake shop.
