1998 Lexus ES 300 a/c problem

When i turn my a/c on full blast it makes a loud noise. What could be the problem and is it expensive to fixed. Also is smells like something is burning under the hood if i run the a/c. It blows cool air tho

Can you hold your computer closer to the car so I can see what's going on?

If the noise is coming from under the hood, suspect the compressor clutch. If it's inside, suspect the heater fan motor. Either of those could smell hot, but the compressor clutch is more likely to do that.

We don't get involved with costs here because there's way too many variables. We don't even know for sure what's wrong yet.
