front windshield replaced

I had my front windshield replaced. it was heated and now regular. the guy who replaced the windshield taped up the connector and pulled the fuse. is that all that needs to be done for safety sake?

should i worry about any code showing up on my kia sedona or will pulling the fuse and putting tape around the connector solve everything?

I dont know about solve everything as far as setting codes iam not sure if there is a heated windshield code for that.Is the check engine light on now since the windshield was replaced?If its isnt i wouldnt worry about it if it does set codes atleast you know why.
