1998 Jeep Wrangler 98 4l 6cyl Alterntor Tests Good Won T Charge Battery Jump

I have a 98 wrangler 4l, 6cyl. Alterntor tests good, but won't charge the battery.
If I jump it from another car it will run while cables are attached and shut down when they are unhooked.
Any ideas on the problem?

Was the alternator tested out the car?Also do you have a multi meter to do some testing?
