replace TPS unit

the check engine light came on and transmission wouldn't shift and it would die or almost die whenever you hit the brakes. I ran a code scanner on it and it gave the code for the TPS. So I replaced the TPS and now I cant get the idle back to the level it should be .

Did you adjust the TPS closed and WOT voltages?
