i have a 1998 jeep cherokee sport 4.0,why do i smell gas and these no leaks ? i just had the valves changed and head shaved and a tune up,its just around town ,on the highway i dont smell it????

You do have a leak. you just haven't found it yet. It may be a very small leak and the fuel will evaporate very quickly so you may have to search for it with the engine running. I have seen some techs use baby powder to help find it.
