1998 xjr engine noise 130,000. noisey for 3 sec after all belts removed, then is quite. Is this a secondary timing chain tensioner trouble?

Are you saying that you remove the serpentine belt then start the engine and hear noise for 3 seconds??? If so, what does the noise sound like, and can you tell what side of the engine it's coming from???
Is the noise a tapping sound, grinding, whining, scraping, etc???
