Where is the inertia switch located

This is a vanden plas. Jaguar. I am in need of a diagram or a picture because I have not found it

Where is the kick panel? In the rear passenger seats. Under the seats? Is it a button or a switch. Im so sad I cant find this :(

How long does it take to react? The problem I had wit my car is.I was driving and almost got into an accident and I slammed on the brakes. The car totally stalled on me on the freeway. What do u think?

The inertia switch is located under the passages side kick panel which is against the right panel foot well. Sorry there is no picture, if you could upload one that would be great.

But it sounds like you may have a crankshaft angle sensor going out. Here is a guide to show you what you are i for when doing the job.
