Hi guys. I have a 1998 Hombre XS and there is a huge gap on top of the door. The spring has fallen out of the hinge so its time for a new hinge. I can not find one any where except one for an S10. The seller say's his catalog say's it will not fit and does not show what will. I'm thinking it is a mistake in his catalog because the cabs are pretty much identical but want to make sure before shelling out the cash. Any one have the answer to my problem?

I was going to PM you but apparently Im not smart enough. Anyway I guess I should have looked closer before asking because it appears these hinges are welded on. I loaded a couple pictures.

Don't worry about not being able to figure out the PM system.
We have recently outgrown our old website and this new setup is hard for everyone (including us) to figure out.

your bushings are just worn out.
cheap fix, should take you a couple of hours.
and I have some extra tricks that uses washers as spacers that will help too.

I'm going to try to send you a email. see if that works.

Stay with a direct fit replacement. Go to a dealer for the correct part.
