How do i remove the front turn indicator lamp assembly

My 1998 HYundai Lantra turn signal is located besides the headlamp assembly. Does this lamp have to be removed first to facilitate the removal of the Headlamp assembly?

Check under the hood for retainer screws that are holding it in place. Also, check between the lens and headlight for retainers. If I remember, the 98 was held in from under the hood.
