hi i have a taping nose coming from the motor i was told it sounds like the tapens are gone in it if so is that expencive to fix

Your engine should be equipped with hydraulic lifters and there are 16 of them. If only one is bad, you need only replace one accordingly.
Usually the noise would be intermittent and goes off when the engine is revved.
Repair cost should not be too expensive but prices differs according to location so you should check local conditions.
