last night my car lostpower and died on me i believe the alternater belt got loose so i proceeded the dayafter i attempted to tighten the belt after doing so i had to jump my battery then it would not idle correctly my rpms were bouncing everywhere also my air bag light came on along with my battery light i was told it could be a sensor

Sounds like the generator just quit working. All of the symptoms you listed have low system voltage in common, not a sensor.
