Jumped another vehicle's battery on Sunday-was having no problems prior to this. Monday AM when I went to get in the car, all the lights on the dash were on (check engine, doors open, battery, etc.) and after running a couple of errands, the car died. I got another battery that was fully charged, put it in, car started fine, but again, it dies after a short time (just going to and from work for instance which is only maybe 30 miles round trip) and I have to switch the battery again. I have been told it could be a problem with the alternator, but am not sure.

The first thing you need to check is the alternator. It sounds like it isn't recharging. You can take it to most parts stores and have them test it. Most do it for free.

If you need direction to check it yourself, let me know.

Thank you so much! If you let me know how to check it, I can get some help and try! If not, I'll find somewhere.
