Hi, I have this black sticky gunk, in my resivor tank (plastic tank next to radiator). It's also on the hose that go down into the resivor tank to suck the collant out of it into the radiator. Coolant is clean and oil is clean. I cleaned the hose and it's still sticky and I showed the parts guy at honda and he told me its the hose and its 4 bucks. How can I get this black stuff out of the resivor though does anyone know of somthing to loosen it up?

There are cleaners that can be used for cleaning the recovery tank.

You can use detergents to soak for a few hours and then flush the gunk out.
