my car is making an average of 7 litres per km on highway.i changed some notles and work on the exhaust but yet no solution

Check fuel rail pressure if pressure is above specs the regulator may be faulty and this can cause problems like you are having, start here.

please how do i locate it and check the pressure. my mechanic seems did not know it.

Find a decent mechanic, there should be a port on the fuel rail, you need a special fitting and suitable fuel pressure gauge, most work shops have this equipment.
