I wanted to scan my car with my obd2 scan and when I looked for the port I realized it did not have the 16 pin std port. Instead I think there is a light blue terminal attached to a metal harness with one little terminal connected with a few cables coming out of it. My question is: Which diagnostic Honda adapter should I get for the scan? 3 pin? 5 pin? Is my scanner going to work on my car?

I will look harder in the afternoon. Any chance someone could tell me the exact location of it? Vin n is 1HGVG2254WA900224. Thnx in advance.

Hello The location of the ALDL connector is:

Data Link Connector (DLC) On lower left of dash, above the kick panel.

Here is a diagram to help you see what I am talking about.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

Searched yesterday and the only possible scan port is a 3 pin female plugged to a plastic light blue harness which also a low to plug a 2 pin female terminal next to it. I ve been searching the web and there are a lot of 3 pin Honda adapter for obd obd1 obd2 scanners.

Just wanted to pass this through the site and see if it is possible since there are some pictures around the web that how same terminals that my car has but are earlier models.

Thanks for your help!
