My 1998 Honda Accord EX check engine light went on. Was diagnosed by Honda dealer with P0420 code for catalytic converter. They also told me there was an oil leak around a CV boot and another leak in the power steering drum. Total repair estimate is $1400. Car seems to run ok but I have noticed what appears to be some very small "oil or anti-freeze leak" on the garage floor underneath my car. Can you advise?

Anti-freeze is not oil based so if you flush the stain on the floor you would be able to distinguish between oil or anti-freeze.

CV boots should have grease leaking and not oil.

Do you mean the power steering rack is leaking?
