when i drive there is a noise in the front of the car it sounds like a knocking sound but other than that a good car

It might be a suspension part such as a ball joint that is loose. It could do a lot of damage if it falls out and if it is knocking it is probably close. Take it to an alignment shop for an alignment and any problem will come out in the alignment and you will need an alignment with repair anyway.
