it takes a bit of cranking before the engine starts

my truck takes about 10 seconds to start, sounds like it doesn't want to kick over but finally starts..It will start up right away the rest of the day. No hesitation or stalling problems

Check and test the coolant temperature sensor and the Idle air control valve-
