I have recently changed my transmission fluid. I have heard conflicting answers on how to check transmission fluid. Some say have to have engine running, others say engined needs to be turn off and hot to get proper reading on dip stick. Which way is needed for a 1998 gmc jimmy. Thanks in advance.
