How much time does an accumulator have exposed to be replaced?

I have been doing a/c work and my system has been exposed to moisture. My accumulator is brand new. How do i know if i have to replace it because it was exposed to moisture?

Accumulator has enough dissicant to remove system moisture one time once opened up needs to be replaced

moisture is death to AC system so the extra money spent will protect all components
