1998 GMC C2500 oil filter housing

Was trying to do oil pump and can't get the oil filter housing off. The filter mounts sideways instead of down like some other ones I've looked at and un did all the bolts I could see there was two on the bottom and that was it no bolts insid.e the filter. I'm almost there and just called it quits yesterday tried looking it up but there was nothing its a 350 by the way

The part that the filter threads onto also threads into the block.

Took that out too and no go but should I take the cooler lines out

Of course they have to be removed by they are not holding it on.

Looks like it's just 2 bolts
