I have a 1998 Ford Windstar. Recently, the passenger window began working sporadically. One day it is fine, the next day the switch does nothing.

Motor is OK. Where do I start troubleshooting?

I would suggest starting with the switch.

PASSENGER DOOR SWITCH
Remove passenger door power window switch (leave harness connected). Using a test light, backprobe appropriate wire terminal while actuating power window switch in specified positions. See PASSENGER SWITCH TESTING table. If test light does not illuminate at appropriate switch positions, replace passenger power window switch.
