Tranny Problems

1998 Ford Windstar 3800 speedometer does not work. I have changed the speed sensor on trans and still does not work. Trans goes into limp mode, any ideas.

There is a driven gear under the sensor. It is tough to see but that may be the failure. If not, then you have a cluster issue. That means the cluster may not be translating the info. A shop can check this with a scan tool to see if the scan tool sees a speed.
