drove my 1998 windstar 3.8L was running fine, parked it and then it wouldn't start, had it towed back to my house, when I was pushing it back into my driveway, hit a pothole which caused the van to bounce pretty hard, oil came from engine somewhere, not the oil pan. changed fuel filter, and checked air filter, found little bit of oil in filter, just wondering if the intake gasket blew or head gasket, how would I find out for sure?

Oil doesn't drain from the top of the engine. You likely damaged the oil pan or timing cover. You need to have it towed to a shop to find out what happened.
