My car is making a squealing noise and I smell burnt rubber

I was thinking maybe a belt was loose but it is also starting to run hot. The noise gets louder when I give it more gas and I can smell the burnt rubber smell coming through my vents, my car also ran hot right after the car started making the noise.

The first thing i would check is the belt tenisor sounds like its weak allowing the belt to slip.
