Is it easy to fix a 4x4 actuator in a 98 ford ranger?

It is just a bolt on part. Disconnect the battery. Remove the wiring harness from the actuator. Un-bolt the part and remove. Install new one and reverse procedure. On the 98, make sure the actator is above the fluid level in the transfer case so it doesn't leak.
