Getting a howling noise when driving straight but when I turn the wheels to the left the sound goes away I do not see ant uneven wear in tires or see any defects with the front suspension

That's typical of a noisy wheel bearing. Most of the time it's the left one if the noise gets quieter when you turn left because more vehicle weight shifts to the right side, but I've been fooled before. Run it in gear on a hoist and listen next to each one with a stethoscope. The noisy one will be obvious.
