Engine cranks but shuts down immediately

Hello,

It sounds like the engine is shutting off due to lack of fuel.
This can happen due to a restriction in the fuel line like a dirty fuel filter or pulsation regulator, a faulty fuel pressure regulator or a weak fuel pump.

Check the fuel pressure. This vehicle should have 64 PSI of fuel pressure.

The fuel filter can accumulate debris and can become too restrictive. This will cause not enough fuel to pass through, leading to fuel starvation to the engine.
