replace oil pan and gas kit in ford falcon au 1.

I have a ford falcon 1998 au 1 6 cylender 4 ltr. I want to replace the oil pan and gas kit. is it difficult or easy . May i need to remove the hole engine or just unscrew the pan

It can be a pain. If I recall, you will need to lift the engine so the pan can actually be removed. Double check to see if there is anything in the way of the pan. If there isn't, you should be able to unbolt it and just remove it. However, if it is blocked by frame components, then you will most likely have to lift the engine.

Take the engine out, far easier to do it this way, replace the rear main and front seal as well, this scan be done in a day if you have an average grasp of mechanics and some decent equipment.
