I am trying to replace the front parking brake cable on my 98 F150, but cannot figure out how to disconnect the cable from the pedal assembly? I have already disconnected the cable below the floorboard and have plenty of slack...just can't figure out how to get the cable out of the pedal itself. Thanks, any help is much appreciated!

It looks like you need to disconnect it under the tuck first. here are diagrams to show you how the job is done. Check out the diagrams (Below) Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
