Can I use synthetic oil for my engine? I have never put synthetic in always have been conventional oil. Will it cause leaks if I put in synthetic oil since none of the seals have not been changed i believe? The reason why i ask is because the engine has a ticking sound on the passenger side and stays throughout the whole drive cycle, it gets louder with acceleration. http://youtu.be/oU0cgj8XkQ4 here it is just at idle.
