1998 ford explorer need to identify coolant by pass hose in which to install "T" fitting to flush coolant

There should be a hose that goes from the firewall area to the engine block. It is about the size of a garden hose. This is normally the hose that is used to install the T fitting. Just a note of warning though...these fittings pretty much always start to leak. I really would not advise using them. I would just drain and fill your cooling system.
