Live in Phoenix. Truck vapor locks when temp gets over 100 degrees. We wait 20 minutes and starts and runs fine. Hope you can help thx. Have changed fuel filter.

Vapor lock is a thing of the past with carburetors and mechanical fuel pumps. The first you thing you need to do when the no-start occurs is to check for spark. In the unlikely event you still have spark, check for fuel pressure. There's a 95 percent chance you won't have spark or injector pulses.
