flickering lights

98 ford expedition 4.6 liter 4x4 - all lights flicker when vehicle is cold after about half hour when engine is warmed up the lights stop flickering. is it the altinator or voltage regulator or amps not the correct amount.

I would suggest having the alt checked when it is cold and the problem is happening. However, something tells me you have a weak or bad ground. If the alt checks out good, make sure body grounds are good. Check to make sure battery terminals are clean and tight. Make sure the main ground to the engine block is tight and chean.
