My son just replaced the fuel pump, filter and 2 fuel injectors. Our friend drove the car and said he opened the hood and saw fuel on the engine-could an injector be leaking or needs tightening?

yes, most likely from the replacement. have your son re check his work. it is a big fire hazard.
