1998 Ford Escort delay wiper problem

I have a 1998 Ford Escort and the delay wipers only have one setting. No matter where you set the delay **** it only runs at one speed. How and what do I repair?

It may be your switch is badand will need to be replaced.

Could be the interval relay or the rheostat built into the multi function switch
