1998 Ford E Series Van You Turn Lights On Blinker Indicator Arrows Lit Work

when you turn the lights on. The blinker indicator arrows are lit up. THe blinker work okay. The iights only work when the are in the bright position, also the dash does not light up. I suspect the mulitswitch. How do I change the mulitswitch

I don't think it is the multifunction switch that is faulty. More like a bad ground circuit at the meter cluster.
