does 24 inch rims cause transmission issues? my o/d light started blinking on and off after awhile of riding on them. for a few days it blinked while i drove it then it stopped blinking. then the same night i heard screaming squeking noises. my car strarted slipping or searching for gears or something to that default. I stopped for about ten mins. started the car up and it drove fine for 2mi.. then it went blank again.like me accelerating but the car sitting still. what do you think?

If the circumference of the tires are different than original, you need to have the PCM re-programmed to the tire size so the transmission knows when to shift due to speed and load.

That is correct. The computer thinks you are going slower than you actually are. Thus, it has no idea when to shift.
