no breaks

98 ford crown vic. when i am sitting parked i have breaks and the petal only goes half way down with pressure. when i move the car they go to the floor i lose all pressure and all breaks.

Well I don't see any TSB's about this condition, so check fluid level and fluid color. If level is low or out you will need to bleed brakes.

Check brake booster line for presence of fluid.

Check lines for any leaks, if no leaks, then brake MC would be suspect.

There has been many complaints about rear brakes on the 500 until redesign in 2006.

Mostly rear brakes locking.
