Hello, I would like to know how if I can straight swap a 1.8 Zetec engine into a 1998 escort 1.4 cvh car? The engine lacks power and I have a black top 1.8 zetec engine.

Not without changing a lot of parts. ECM, wiring harness, dash, BCM will all be different. The trans controller and trans itself will be different and may not handle the extra power either.
