1998 Dodge Stratus You Explain Firing Order On Distributor Cap Works 2 5 V6

Can you explain how the firing order on the distributor cap works? I have a 2.5 v6 engine. Does it fire every time it comes in contact with a spark plug wire on the distributor cap?

the rotor points to the wire and fires the spark plug.

what is the issue??

I was having problems with the car not starting, I replaced the distributor and the crankshaft position sensor, the car started but was missing and idling rough.
