I need to change the front left idler arm. The bearings went out on a trip and had a dealership change them for me. They said the idler arm needed to be changed and wanted to change an extra $150 to do it. I looked it up online and it doesn't seem to hard. Just need the steps or any tips to make sure I am ding it correctly.

Thanks.

THIS WOULD BE THE VERY BEST WAY TO CORRECTLY MAKE ANY DIY REPAIR

I'VE TRUSTED THEM SINCE I HELPED THE HIGH SCHOOL "BIGGER KIDS" WITH THEIR VEHICLES (I WAS THE MECHANICAL MINDED ONE--IN THE 8th GRADE) BACK AROUND '76 AND '77

NOTHING GETS LEFT OUT---REPAIRS ARE THOROUGH---DIAGRAMS AND PICS ARE OFTEN GIVEN---TORQUE SPECS GIVENYOU ARE TRUSTING SOMETHING THAT IS COPYRIGHTED AND "PROVEN"----NOT SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW

NOT ONLY ALL OF THAT---YOU HAVE MEGA INFO AT YOUR DISPOSAL---SOMETHING TO USE THE NEXT TIME
