a bad fuel pump?

I have a 1998 dodge neon with a bad fuel pump. Can i put an in line pump on that car. A new pump is way too much. Blows the 20 amp fuse. will run for awhile then it will blow fuse. went one week before blowing its fuse. i figure it is the uel pump. he pump is load when running.

Just make sure it can produce the correct fuel pressure as specified for you vehicle-
