1998 dodge intrepid3.2. My trac off and abs lights are on. Did a check and said abs hydraulic pump?What is it and is it expensive to fix ? Please help me, thanks.

Yes, the pump is expensive but diagnostic fault codes rarely point to a defective part. They indicate the circuit or system that has a problem. It could be as simple as a switch that isn't turning the pump on, and it could be as serious as the pump is running non-stop without building enough pressure.
