parking brake light on the dasboard stays on even if the brake is not engaged any ideas

one day recently the parking brake light came on and it wont go off till i turn off the engine

light stays on for 3 reasons. e brake still applied, low brake fluid in the container and hydraulic failure. get it checked out to see.
