Hi, I have a 1998 automatic 1.3 Terios RHD and the front left indicator is out. I have replaced the bulb but the indicator still does not work. The side and rear indicators both work fine as do wipers and right indicators so the fuse is ok too.

Since the indicators are in series I am guessing a problem with the bulb housing but before I fork out I wanted to know if anybody had any other suggestions?

PS Fairly competent mechanically and with electrics.

I suspect you are correct, so we need to remove the bulb and inspect the housing connector.

What you will most likely find is the connector has corrosion or loose contacts.

If this is the case, then we need to replace the connector.

Here is a video that will show you how to do this the proper way:

Please run through this info and let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks
