Rear brake drum

I have a citroen xsara 1998 , i am replacing my rear wheel bearing, I cant seem to get the brake drum off , I've tried hammering it but wont work. Anyone else able to give any suggestions ? thanks

How about a pix? Is the drum loosened and can be moved about?
