Hi,
my blower doesn't works anymore. Last times it worked very slow and just at max speed of regulation.
I'm learning that it coukld be the regulator.
Before purchasing it can I check engine of the blower connecting directly to car battery or I risk damage (to me first of all.)?
I've found regulators items to vbuy for replace mine.
If the broblem was the engine instead of the regulator where can I fin it at a good price?
best regards

Check to see if there is power to the blower motor. Also, yes you can use a jumper wire from the battery to see if the motor is good. The fact that it only worked on high usually indicates the blower motor resister is bad. If the motor is good, that would be my first guess. Keep in mind, a bad motor (draws too many amps) will burn out the resister.
